Warne set for Millers return?

Warne was released by Oldham boss John Sheridan at the end of last season despite winning the clubs player of the year accolade - and it's believed Mark Robins and John Breckin are trying to tempt the 34 year old back to Millmoor.

Breckin is deputising for Robins, who is currently on a short holiday, and is also said to be talking to two centre backs - one with vast experience and another that featured in League One last season. Talks are also ongoing with an unnamed striker.

Meanwhile it's been confirmed that the latest and 8th pre-season capture, Marc Joseph, has signed a two year deal.
