Striker Ryan Taylor looks set to complete his move to Bristol City after rejecting an offer from Millwall earlier this week. The move is not unexpected after the 23 year old turned down the Millers offer of a new deal.
Midfielder Nicky Law is also expected to leave the club with Alan Knill's Scunthorpe the likely destination.
Talking to the Advertiser today, Paul Doglas said: "Andy Scott is aware we are going to have to replace them but we are also looking at central defence, the full-back positions, up front and in midfield in general."
"While he has been on holiday Andy has been talking to players and agents and while it is always nice to sign players sooner rather than later, he is aware that we move from a seller's to a buyer's market as summer moves on. As the pre-season build-up approaches, players are more willing to sit down and talk about things realistically."
"We are talking to a Championship striker at the moment and there may some developments on that next week." he added
