When asked wether the players would be taking a pay cut or deferral, Antonia Brickell was met by a wall of silence from the players she was interviewing, fueling rumours.
However speaking to the Millers official website, The Millers Chief Executive Phil Henson said "I can assure all our fans that all our players are right behind us in our attempts to save the club, "As those talks are continuing, the players were instructed not to comment on the wages issue and their potential financial backing for the club until all matters were resolved."
"We hope to make a full announcement early next week as to the exact nature of the backing from the players." he added.
