New signings imminent

With the squad returning for pre-season training next week, boss Mark Robins will be looking to complete his squad for next seasons assault on League Two.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield, Robbo admitted that he was still in the hunt for players, notably a new striker and a winger.

"Things are ongoing, we've spoke to a few people and what happens players go away on holiday and as soon as it gets a little bit later they come back to you, but there are one or two things happening and something my happen in the near future, but until the ink is dry you never say never." Robbo said.

Robbo was asked if anything could happen this week, Robbo was hopefull that a new signing could be made very soon; "hopefully we'll do something tomorrow, we'll certainly be meeting with somebody and hopefully something will be done and finalised."

Meanwhile, Robbo is pleased with the clubs temporary training base at Doncasters Keepmoat stadium; "The Keepmoat people have been fantastic, they've bent over backwards to help us with our needs and requirements with the fantastic facility up there, from that prospective the players will be spoilt."

"Expect us to be fit and fine for the first game of the season." he added.
