Murdock continues comeback in reserves win

On the way back

The club skipper, who came through last week's 0-0 reserves draw with Sheffield Wednesday, had a steady game at the heart of the back four as the Millers fielded a mixture of youth and experience.

Murdock's comeback may be a timely one with defensive woes in the first team camp at the moment and he impressed against a previously unbeaten Hull second string. Luke Pritchard opened the scoring and Marc Newsham netted the second after Eugen Bopp's long range shot was parried into his path. The Tigers netted with 10 minutes left but Rotherham managed to hold out to claim victory.
