Millers Tuesday Round-Up

Last updated : 08 November 2005 By Deano
It's a tad quiet on news down at Millers HQ, but as work on the new stand continues, the club this morning received confirmation that Michael Keane will serve a three match suspension for his red card at the weekend.

Keane appeared to kick out at Mansfield's Gus Uhlenbeek and was shown a straight red for violent conduct, despite already being booked in the first half.

Uhlenbeek was also dismissed after tempers flared and he had to be restrained by team mates. Keane(pictured) will now miss Saturday's crunch match at home to Colchester United, the trip to Barnsley on November 19th and the LDV Round Two clash with Macclesfield Town on Tuesday 22nd.

Another disappointing result saw the juniors lose their reign as league leaders on Saturday as they were beaten 3-1 by Chesterfield. The Millers only netted from an own goal in a below par display, but Mark Robins has seen the lads progress brilliantly so far and will hope that this is just a minor set back.

Tickets for the game at Walsall have been confirmed at £18 and £12 for concessions, with room for 3,000 Millers fans. It should be noted that no tickets will be sent to Millmoor and these are pay on the day prices. However, fans wishing to claim a £2 discount can telephone the Bescot Stadium and book their tickets in advance on credit card.

Meanwhile, the eagerly anticipated interview with club Chairman Peter Ruchneiwicz and Radio Sheffield was set to take place this morning and should be on the wireless this evening.
