With intrest in new signings and price reductions have already seen sales of season tickets pushed over last years 1800 to nearly 2000, and the club are hoping to break that figure with just one week to go before the start of the new season.

Speaking in todays Advertiser, Millers director Gary Hall said: "It's a fantastic response and really shows the optimism around the place at the moment."

"The fans have been encouraged by the signings we've made over the summer and I think people realise that the court case with the Booth family is not the be all and end all. There will be life after it." he added.

The extra sales have generated a reported a much needed quarter of a million pounds.

Meanwhile sales for the Carling Cup game against Sheffield Wednesday have been dissapointing so far with less than 2500 being sold to Millers fans!

The game is played on Thursday 16th August, KO 7:45pm.
