Millers issue statement to counter County ticket rumours

County fans are to be admitted at a reduced price of just £5 for the clash on 28th December at Meadow Lane.

However Millers fans will have to pay full adult price of £20 and normal concession charges to attend the fixture after the club allegedly opted out of the discounted ticket policy, according to County's ticket office.

Following email complaints and enquires by supporters, as well as messageboard speculation, Rotherham have confirmed they plan to do something similar for upcoming matches at Don Valley and that Notts County are not in breach of any Football League ruling.

A statement on the club's official website denotes that any Rotherham fan planning to sit in the home section of the stadium to save money will be immediately ejected, but does not specify whether or not they declined an offer of discounted entry at the time of this article.
