The Millers have issued a sign or shelf ultimatum to Ihiekwe and his agent on the offer of a new deal.
A decision was expected last week, but as yet nothing has been signed and Warne want's to get things sorted.
"I don't honestly know if he will sign, I'm ever hopeful. I've spoken to the player again. We have reached the point where we can't go any higher. We have offered him a really good deal" Warne told the media at the weekend.
"We should know at the start of next week. His agent has also been in touch. Icky is really keen to sort it out." he added.
