Knill Keane on Midfielder

Last updated : 11 March 2005 By Bigrich.....

The 22 year old Midfielder has been told he has no future at the KC under Peter Taylor, who has just signed a new 2 and half year contract with the Tigers.

Michael Keane
A fans favorite at Hull, Keane has fell out of favor with Taylor questioning his attitude and fitness, and recently the firey chappy was sent off during a reserve game against Sheffield United, when he headbutted one of the Blades 16 year old players, this has virtually ended his career at Hull.

On speaking to a mate who is a Hull fan, he told me that he's a kind of player that will get the team going as well as the fans. He scored 5 times for the Tigers this season in 25 appearances since signing from Preston last summer.
He comes highly recommended to the Millers by Everton boss David Moyes.

Joey O'Brein
Also wanted by Alan Knill is Bolton midfielder Joey O'Brien, I understand a move was planned for earlier this week but he was called up to the Bolton squad for their game against Man City.

O'Brien caught Knill's eye during his loan at Sheffield Wednesday, however the youngster is highly rated by Sam Allardyce, and any move would probably just be a loan move for the 19 year old to get some first team experience under his belt.
