Knill - Fans backing needs to continue

The Milers haven't played for two weeks due to the poor weather conditions and a frozen pitch at Millmoor saw two games called off, leaving the boss disappointed.

Feeling the strain?
Speaking to Millersworld earlier today he reflected this: ''I'm extremely disapppinted, its a long time since we've played at home and we were looking forward to games infront of our supporters. We accept the first one, but to have two off is disappointing."

Going into tomorrow's match he continued: "Scunthorpe are a really good team - and that's the key word - team. They have been together a long time with Brian (Laws) putting together a really good side, and Nigel (Adkins) has taken that on and what they have done well is resisted on selling their major assets, keeping probably the best goalscorer in the league (Billy Sharp).

"It's going to be a hard game but we've said it time and again, the league throws up results. There is no reason why we can't go there and get a result.

"On the player front we've been trying all this week and last, but for one reason or another, whether it's the player or circumstances at their club, they haven't come in but we'll continue to search.

"Keane, Robertson, Murdock and Hurst are all out tomorrow but the rest are all fit. The support really backs the lads when we are out there. Doncaster was great, and at Brighton it was a poor ground but you could always hear our fans.

''It goes without saying we're not on the greatest of runs obviously and yet they continue to back and support and we need that behind us. A big thanks to them."
