The Millers gaffer reacted angrily with his post-match comments in a game which was marred by referee Kettle's shocking performance. Harford himself and three Rotherham players saw red on an unsavoury afternoon at Oakwell as the home side snatched a dramatic injury time point.

Harford: Gutted
Talking to BBC Radio Sheffield Mick said: "We were the better team by a million miles and should have been three goals up by half time. We had five bookings then but i don't think the physio had been on the pitch, the game was absolutely spoiled by the referee who shouldn't officiate at any level of football. I am not going to accept what he did today without saying anything, there was only one team going to win, us - we were by far the better team.

"Burton was clean through when he received his red card, there was no way he would dive in that situation, Lee Williamson slipped over on an icy pitch and was sent off. At half time i spoke to the referee and i said there hadn't been a bad tackle and he replied ok he understood. Then all of a sudden he changed, maybe i was too nice and i should have had a go at him. Apparently the ball wasn't over the line for their equaliser but he had to pander to their fans by playing five minutes extra time just waiting until they scored."

Harford continued: "The players and my livelihood are at stake and i understand the pressures of the job but this bloke should be struck off the list. When i was dismissed all i said was 'five minutes' where did he get that from as i never swore."

The Millers gaffer also went on to confirm he would appeal against Williamson and Burton's dismissals but nothing was said about Colin Murdock's departure after the final whistle. He was understandably frustrated by how the afternoon unfolded and added: "Today is a killer - we were comfortable."
