It's now down to US!!!

The new stand was today given planning permission by Rotherham Council, no objections were made and now the Club have the put the building project out to tender to construction firms.

The stand is becoming nearer to reality each day, all that could put a spanner in the works now, is US!! The fans.

We must now raise at least the £230k needed to start the project, however the aim for RUST is £380k to ensure a 25.1% shareholding in Rotherham United to give the fans the voice on the board for life, and also ensuing the best for Rotherham United.

RUST Chairman Craig Saunderson told, "We need every single fan to stand United. RUST is putting every ounce of effort into achieving the target because at the heart of the organisation is the real belief that fans are the most important asset any club has.

"We know the target is ambitious and challenging but with the fans support it is achievable - together we can make it happen. RUST needs every single fan to contribute - whether it is £10 or £1,000 or anything in-between. We all have the opportunity to achieve something significant that will go down in the club's history."

RUST will outside the Tivoli / Get 7 shop giving more information about the fundraising effort and also taking pledge's/donations before and after the game on Saturday.
