Speaking on themillers.co.uk, chairman Tony Stewart looks forward to the job of getting the Millers a new manager, a position that he considers a privilege.

"Over the last day or two I have been asked on several occasions what we are looking for in our new Manager. I have considered what the new Manager can offer Rotherham United Football Club, and also what Rotherham United Football Club can offer the new Manager. I get very excited thinking about our prospects moving forward into a new era." Tony said.

"The team currently sits top of League Two, we have a squad of talented and wholly committed players capable of playing great football, a supportive Chairman and Board of Directors in both financial terms and through the support required to build the infrastructure to a standard capable of getting the job done, and done right. We can also offer our new Manager the opportunity to get involved in the planning of both the new training ground and new stadium. They will have the opportunity to leave a lasting impression on the future of this football club, and I think this is all quite unique."

"This all presents an unbelievable chance for a Manager to join Rotherham United and join the positive, focused and driven environment we have all created. They will inherit an excellent squad and as good a chance as ever to gain promotion in their very first season." he added.

"We are looking for a Manager to represent this fantastic Football Club in the right manner. Rotherham United means so much to us all in this town and the new Manager will have a privileged position and he will be supported every step of the way."
