With a release list almost in double figures and skipper Ian Sharps leaving yesterday, some fans are distressed at the lack of activity in the market despite rumours of potential signings set to be announced over the past week.
But Moore says he won't be rushed and told the clubs website: "We have one or two irons in the fire but I am not just going to sign someone for the sake of it.
"If I am going to bring somebody here then it has to be right for the football club. There is no panic because I have got the nucleus of a side; we really just need to add some quality to sign in certain areas.
"I know the areas that need to be filled but there is the loan market to take into consideration as well, the signings don't always have to be permanent."
