Head2Head and Early Team news- Colchester United (2pm)

The hot tempered Michael Keane, who was suspended anyway, will be out as he requires surgery on a bowel injury that looks set to keep him out for up to six weeks. Andy Monkhouse will be vying for a return to the side in Keane’s absence after he was left out in the FA Cup defeat to Mansfield. Lee Williamson is almost certain to return to the midfield following a long lay off and Grant Leadbitter would be the one expected to make way.

Surely will be recalled
Harford will be unable to bring back loan signing Barry Conlon, who is proving to be a pointless acquistion as he looks set to face a month on the sidelines with a knee injury. Martin Butler will retain his place up front and despiteDeon Burton’s evident disenchantment he will again start.

Goalkeeper Neil Cutler will be chomping at the bit for a recall six weeks after he was dropped. Cutler’s replacement Gary Montgomery has had a nightmare run in goal making several errors that have cost goals. If Cutler was to be recalled it would be the third goalkeeping change of the season.

After last week’s dismal cup display any one of the players who did not make the XI will fancy their chances of a game but Harford is not expected to name his team until the latest possible moment.

Meanwhile, Colchester couldn’t be coming in to this game in any higher spirits after they thumped Leamington 9-1 in the cup last week. They were also boosted with a midweek practice game against Gray’s Athletic, which Colchester’s manager Phil Parkinson used to give several players a run out. Neil Danns, George Elokobi and Karl Duguid all played themselves in to contention for a start on Saturday. A bad reception?
Watson, who endured a bittersweet spell with the Millers, will be hoping to run Colchester’s midfield.

Meanwhile, midfielder Gary Halford has warned his team mates of the likely threat to be caused by Deon Burton. Talking to his icons.com site Halford said. “The game on Saturday will be a good challenge for us. Deon Burton is scoring goals for fun up there, so we'll need to be very wary of him. However, if we can keep him under control, there's no reason why we can't get a result."
