Mark Robins' side go into tonight's game without a win in three and looking to get back into the automatic promotion slots in League Two with a crucial three points.

County arrive just outside the play off picture but without dangerman Anthony Elding in their ranks, who moved to Leeds during the transfer deadline acitivity.

Robins will be without Steve Brogan of course after he broke a leg in two places in Saturday's draw at MK Dons. Peter Holmes is set to replace Paddy on the left wing but the boss has a fully fit squad to choose from elsewhere, with Ady Pettigrew set to continue at full back.

Dale Tonge and Marc Joseph will compete for the right back slot if the formation changes back to a 4-3-3 and wtih Ryan Taylor doing well in the final 20 minutes at Stadium:mk he could well start the game this evening. We understand prospective new loan signing Joe Widdowson will not figure as a concrete deal has yet to be agreed with West Ham.

Stockport are expected to be without defenders Gareth Owen (knee) and Dominic Blizzard (hamstring).

Midfield man Paul Turnbull may return but has missed the last three games so may have to settle for a place on the bench.
