The Millers go into tomorrow's game with Gary Waddock's Shots looking to end a winless streak of seven matches and make inroads into the group of sides above them.
Their task won't be easy though, as Aldershot arrive at Don Valley just three weeks after disposing of Rotherham 3-0 in their FA Cup first round replay.
Mark Robins must surely have learned lessons from that tie and you'd expect a more tighter and possibly scrappier affair tomorrow, considering the Shots poor record on the road in League Two. Despite that form though, they sit in 10th spot.
The boss told the press earlier this week he's already decided on his strike partnership, but would reveal nothing up until kick off time. Drewe Broughton is missing after his dismissal for a second booking at Shrewsbury last weekend, whilst Steve Cann comes in to replace loanee David Stockdale in goal.
Stockdale also received his marching orders in the same game, seeing a straight red - but is available for Tuesday's JPT clash against his old club Darlington. Danny Harrison (right) could return to the starting 11 as Msrk Hudson has a virus and may not be fit.
The only long term absentees are Pablo Mills and Steve Brogan. Mark Lynch hopes to return to training next week after three months out following shoulder surgery.
Our visitors are without striker Marvin Morgan who serves a one-match suspension having accrued five yellow cards.
Dave Winfield is also unavailable, whilst Junior Osborne is sidelined through a knee injury and likely to need a cartilage operation.
