Deal still happening - Douglas

As yet no news confirming that the deal headed by Tony Stewart has been completed, and as usual where football is concerned, the fans are getting restless at the lack of positive news.

Last week it was announced that Stewart and the Booth family had come to an agreement for the club to stay at Millmoor for the next 4 years at least, that deal is still to be completed also.

However the clubs chief operating office Paul Douglas tells todays Advertiser that both deals are still being worked on by lawyers and it is hoped that positive news will be announced soon.

"Things are happening behind the scenes and discussions are continuing, The issues are still in the hands of lawyers and these things take time." Douglas said.

"The fundamental thing to remember is that Tony Stewart is funding the club at this time." he added.

With the uncertainty over where we will be playing and the club still in administration, season ticket prices for next season still have not being released.

The clubs pre-season games start in just 8 weeks!
