Coming up - 1 New Stand !!!

The news was broken this morning on the club official website that the recent problems with the FSIF (Football Stadia Improvment Fund) had been resolved and that the contract was going to be signed during the day.

Peter Ruchniewicz told the clubs official website "At the meeting FSIF representatives confirmed their formal approval to the club's proposed arrangements with its contractor for the building of the new stand and were generally extremely helpful and supportive. From there, things quickly fell into place with our negotiations with the builders and architects resulting in agreement in principle and the issue of letter of intent. Once we get those formalities signed up, orders for demolition and steel will be immediately placed. Demolition should follow about two weeks after that."

"This is a momentous day in the club's history and we are all naturally delighted that all the problems have been ironed out and we can get started. We can't thank the fans enough for the support they have given the club in ensuring that this can go ahead as we enter a new era in the club's history." he added.

The stand is hoped to be ready for Febuary, Hall Construction told that the demolition of the current main stand due to start in the next two weeks which will last a month.

The club also announced that where possible, fixtures and fittings from the old stand will be sold in a memorabilia sale, more details will be given on that in the future.
