The Millers will recieve £50,000 compenstation from Liverpool as youth goalkeeper Josh Mimms - son of former Millers keeper Bobby, has moved to Liverpool reports the Rotherham Star.

Josh made the reserves bench four times, and played for the centre of excellence. He had also spent time at Liverpool recently on trial.

The Millers have added a sell-on clause in the deal.

Need any more reasons to pledge?
Meanwhile, Mike Pollitt's move to Wigan seems still on and is now down to Pollitt's personal terms.

The fee of arouund £200k will come in useful and will no doubt help build the funding gap for the new stand - The Millers still need £95k to get the project started. However the board have today told manager Mick Harford during todays board meeting that when the money is sorted any further money from the fundraising efforts and the 'Buy a Brick - Build A Future' scheme will be going towards squad improvements.
