The Millers have today said goodbye to Goalkeeping Coach and Cheif Scout Graham Brown by mutual consent and appointed former Sheffield United goalkeeper Simon Tracey.

Tracey 37, finished playing with the Blades in 2003 and has joined the Millers on a Part-time basis tostart with.

He told Radio Sheffield, "I'm looking forward to working with Mike Pollitt and Gary Montgomery, they're very good technically, hopefully I can pass on a bit of knowledge down the line and hopefully I can improve them. I know from my days that I used to enjoy it when the goalkeeping coach was coming in and I hope they will too!"

Meanwhile the club have offered John Breckin a consultancy role at Millmoor.

The former Millers assistant manager has been off for a few weeks on compassionate leave and is thinking over the offer tfrom the club to be a consultant to bring in young players to the club.

Millers chairman Peter Ruchniewicz told the clubs official website "We have offered John a consultancy role with the club until at least the end of the season. Historically Rotherham has had a reputation for developing good, young talent. We want Rotherham to become known again as a breeding ground for future stars.

Ruchniwicz added "The brief we have given John is to look at young players in the 17-21 age group category across the country - recommending those who could play a part in the future of the Millers."

The club are expecting an answer from Breck in the next couple of weeks.
