We rode our luck a bit - Knill

At the assembled post match interview, Knill admitted that Swansea had chances to win the game.

"If anyones been to the game today, they had a fair few chances themselves, but to go in front and then have a great chance to go 2-0 you are dissapointed not to take all three points, but a good performance all the same."

Asked if it was the responce that Knill was looking for after last weeks defeat at Cheltenham, "Yes, I have to say we were'nt that bad at Cheltenham, but when the team has taken some critism it has always bounced back the next week and I think today was no different."

Neil Cutler came in for some praise after some good saves, "He's been fantastic for us and one of the most improved players, he has all the amour to be a top keeper and what we'll try to do is install confidence in him. His performances this season have been excellent and obviously we hope it continues." Knill said.

Another player to gain praise is Martin Woods who is making great strides in the MillersMAD player of the year competition. "Theres nothing he can't do" Knill said, "I think hes a top player, I did when I brought him to the club, hes got great feet and energy. The just think he can only get better and he's a great aquisition."

"People talk about Will Hoskins and Lee Williamson but I think theres plenty in the team that a few scouts will be having a look at." he added.

Speaking about Will Hoskins, Knill said; "It's just not going for Will at the moment, but he's a conscientious lad and he tries all the time, and as long as he tries there will be no complaints from me."

Asked if the contract situation was affecting Will's game, "You'll have to ask him, it's a decision they've made and I can't do anything about it and it's upto Will and his representative to come through it and cope with it."

"From my point of view the efforts there, we put him to wide right and he ran up and down wide right at the end, and if the efforts there then you know the desire is there."

Knill however now has a few more injury worries over the festive period, "Gregor got a knock on his ankle, Justin got injured in a poor chellenge, Will is carrying his back while Wiseman his calf, but at this time of the year you just have to dig in, get through the games and hope for a little rest afterwards."

"We're hopeful that Pablo will be ok for Oldham, but you never know. But I thought that Worrell and Ian were great today, it's great credit to Dave, he plays right back and he's steady, then we throw him in center half and he's outstanding against Fallon and Trundle. He did really well for us today and the number of last ditch challenges was excellent."

"If he has to play center half David is one of those who just says yes and gets on with it, so we're fortunate that he can play various positions but we're hopeful that Pablo will be back."
