Moore saw his team squander a 3-0 lead at half time to draw the game and he admitted on Radio Sheffield after the game that it felt like a defeat.

ronniebig4"It feels like a defeat theres no doubt about it, but we were so lucky to be three up at half-time. How the hell were we three up? We were never in the game."

"2 set plays and a lovely bit of football thats got it and all we have to do is hold on for 45 minutes but we'd conceded a goal before I'd even sat down, so thats got to be a minute into the second half, then its 3-2 15 minutes in, then we were lucky, we might look back and think what a good point that is."

"I know it sounds daft when your 3 nil up and say what a good point this is, but we were poor today, as poor as I've seen us I think. There were one or two flashes of football where we hit them on the break but as a team we defended far too deep second half. We were very lucky we were'nt down to ten men, if that had happened we would have probably lost the game." Ronnie added.

"You look at the side and think how the hell can they play like they did last week at Shrewsbury last week and kept the ball all day could give it away so often like they did today. It comes from the back four defending too deep and I've told them I'm not having it. You;ve got to be pushed up and Woggys got to be off his line and help us out. We were too deep and that allowed them to come back into the game so I'm dissapointed obviously, if you can't play for 45 minutes with a 3 nil lead then theres something wrong with you."

"The first goal was Dog & Duck wasn't it? You go on the rec tomorrow and you will see a goal like that, straight through, big hoof, we didn't get the header on, too deep and allowed the lad to get the poke in. Third goal, we're on the penalty spot and played it to feet and then we have'nt picked up on it, ridiculous tackle for the penalty, we said stay on your feet - don't go to ground."

"Their 2 wide men caused us problems today, first half thier 19 gave John (Mullins) a bad time, the subs come on and played really well and looked lively. I think we've got out of jail."

Striker came in for a bit of stick from his boss after playing for a penalty, leading to thier second goal; "Alfie shouldnt be doing that where he was, you know it was absolutely ridiculous to try and beat 4 or 5 men in around there, it only needs a toe poke and its in the back of our net, as it happens it went for a penalty. I don't think it was a foul, I think Alf tried to make it into a foul."

"We've no excuses, we've not played well, Sorry I'm repeating myself but I'm frustrated because having got to three nil and wondering how and saying we've got to improve on a three goal lead, if we can get four or five then lets do it."

"It's dissapointing but we're lucky in a way that we didn't lose."

Ronnie was asked if he was looking to bring in any players now that the loan window has re-opened; "We've always thought that we need to strengthen, we definately need strengthening in midfield, we need somebody whos going to get on the ball and pass it about for us. We have'nt got an out and out passer, like today it was crying out for somebody to put a foot on it."

"But I blame the back four for today, no doubt about that, they're far too deep as a unit, they need to be up another 15 20 yards for me and if they dont do it we'll change it." Ronnie said.

"I don't want to bring a kid in here, I'm looking for some experience. Somebody who's going to get a foot on it and make us play. From 3 nil up I don't care who you should never ever concede three in the second half and another 5 minutes we could have lost it as the heads went down and I don't like from my players, we want some leaders out there and we didnt have them, we wilted under pressure today."

"The lad Harrod up front has caused us no end of problems, he's battered our two center backs, he's run them ragged and the two full backs have been taken to the cleaners with their wide men. So if three of your back fours having a problem then your in for a tough day and thats why it's ended up three three."

Ronnie then spoke about Ryan Taylors return to training; "Ryan will start trainging next week, and thats training with us, he's already been kicking balls and stuff like that, he might get 20 minutes in the reserve team game on Wednesday, I'll have a word with him and the physio and see what they think. I don't think he'll be in the squad for next weekends game its probably just a bit early for him."
