Speaking after the game on Sky Sports "To come here and to play against an Ipswich team that are on the top of their form and to be dissapointed at the end of it that we didnt come out with something you have to say the players have been excellent tonight."

"2 or 3 months ago we would have come here and it would have been 6 or 7 but it wasnt like that and they fought for everything, and like I say we could have come away with something."

"At 4-1, I wanted the ref to hurry up and blow the whistle, as they could have got six, but the players kept on going. They showed belief to come back once we got it to 4-2. The future is bright for next season."

"The start of the season was the problem, in this league you have to get points on the board from the start, we did'nt and we were always playing catch-up from then. We've been bottom of the league since August and that tells a story."

"I've had them for the last 8 or 9 weeks and the last 4 performances have been pretty good and they have shown plenty of commitment and thats all you can ask of as a manager."

"Relegation is a great disappointment but I think this squad includes players more than capable of bouncing back next year. We proved that here. The effort and ability should enable us to cope adequately in the division below."
"On a bad night for the club there were many positives in the performance."
