"This is another indication of the amount of progress being made at the club, Carlsberg are an International brand who have shown a keen interest at becoming involved with Rotherham United and I am very pleased to welcome them on board." the Millers commercial director Steve Coakley told the clubs official site.
Carlsberg's Area Customer Manager Ben Shaw added; "We already work in partnership with SIV as the brewery partner to all of their venues including Don Valley Stadium. When we were offered the opportunity to work direct with Rotherham United Football Club and support our association with Don Valley it seemed a perfect fit."

"When we discussed the aspirations that the Club had we were delighted for the opportunity to be part of the plans" he added.
Even though Steve has only just warmed the seat of his chair, he has been busy in bringing in new partnerships to the club; "Despite the obvious restrictions with the current financial climate I have been more than encouraged with the level of interest shown for sponsorship, hospitality and advertising facilities ahead of the new season," he said.
"There are a variety of ways that businesses can become involved with Rotherham United, and no matter how big or small the company I'd be keen to talk to every business about what we we're able to offer."
