Footymad preview History of the Bristol Rovers v Rotherham United fixture

The Millers face a trip to in form Bristol Rovers at the Memorial Stadium on Tuesday evening, and have come away with little in previous meetings having been beaten a depressing 17 out of 26 games.

The most recent encounter between these two sides at Memorial Stadium was last season in October 2011, when they eased past their opponents in a high-scoring 5-2 thriller.

Just last month John Ward's side started their recent revival with a 3-1 win at the New York Stadium. The Pirates have won six of their last eight matches to climb to 18th in the table.
