Rotherham 2-2 Milton Keynes Dons- Match Report

Rotherham suffered an early set back when the visitors grabbed the lead after just nine minutes.

Ryan Hall picked the ball up wide left from a goal kick and pulled it back across the penalty area to set up an unmissable chance for Matthew Kennedy.

Early efforts from Kieran Agard and Lee Frecklington went just wide and in the 20th minute Kari Arnason was just inches away from an equaliser with a fierce long range shot.

In the 30th minute Dons' Dele Alli was booked for a foul and was lucky not to see red, then a minute later George Baldock was injured in a harmless looking clash with Alex Revell, with Baldock stretchered off after an 11 minute delay.

And, three minutes into the second half, Dons were reduced to 10 men when Brendon Galloway received his second yellow card for a foul on Kieran Agard.

But as Rotherham tried to turn the screw, the Dons broke out of defence and Alli's slide rule pass found Izale McLeod with only the goalkeeper to beat which he did with ease.

With 11 minutes to go Michael O'Connor pulled one back from close range from substitute Tom Hitchcock's pass and in the third minute of added time, Alex Revell rescued a point with a back header from Arnason's long throw.
