A hectic opening spell saw four goals in 31 minutes as Yeovil when two down but then bounced back to rock the Millers.

Will: On form
Rotherham swept in front with two goals in as many first-half minutes to put themselves firmly in control.

The first came after ten minutes when Eugen Bopp earned a corner that was swung across by Martin Woods only to be headed out as far as Bopp who quickly fed Hoskins.

The Yorkshire side's leading scorer turned provider when he curled in a testing cross that was met by strike partner Delroy Facey, who headed in to claim his first home league goal for the club.

Two minutes later Rotherham charged forward down the left flank and Woods whipped in a cross that Terry Skiverton stretched to clear, but instead turned it past his own keeper.

Yeovil hit back after 25 minutes when Chris Cohen crossed from the left and Leon Best, on loan from Southampton, was left unmarked to power in a header past Neil Cutler.

Soon afterwards the visitors could have been level, but Cutler managed to hold on to a fierce strike from midfielder Martin Cranie after he was allowed to charge forward and shoot from distance. Cutler smothered it at the second attempt.

But on 31 minutes Yeovil were deservedly back on level terms earning the reward for the energy and enterprise.

Best slipped a neat ball wide for Cohen and he drove a dangerous low cross into the area which was met by Lee Morris, who darted in and clipped a first-time shot past Cutler.

Rotherham restored their advantage with the seconds ticking away in first-half injury-time when Will Hoskins claimed his 13th goal of the season.

Woods: Solid
Hoskins showed pace and control as he swerved between two defenders in the area and Skiverton brought him down earning the home side a penalty that the young striker confidently dispatched himself.

In a goalless second half Hoskins went closest to adding more goals, before Yeovil hurled everything forward in the dying minutes to no avail as Martin Woods in particular repelled the opposition in midfield and home defence stood firm.
