A second half hat-trick from 18 year-old Jeff Schlupp on his senior debut put paid to the Rotherham's challenge as the big spending Championship side ran out comfy winners.

They were given a scare however as the Millers had the better of the exchanges in the first half hour, going infront as Adam Le Fondre's cross shot was deflected into his own net by Matt Mills.

After the break though the Foxes showed their class. After Paul Gallagher had powerfully headed in before half time past Andy Warrington, Schlurr came to the party, firstly sliding a left footed low effort into the bottom corner as Jason Taylor and Danny Harrison lost possession in midfield.

The Millers, who had made two subs at the break looked a little shell shocked and fell further behind on the hour as Schlurr headed in Gallagher's cross.

And the youth product capped a fine evening as he rounded Warrington for a fourth after the 'keeper had spilled a shot from 12 yards with 20 minutes left.
