Millers 1-1 Stevenage

lawbig4Nicky Law gave the Millers the lead at the end of a phsyical first period, but John Mousinho levelled for the visitors seven minutes from time to earn a point.

In a sluggish first period the Millers were pinned back, not helped by a very lenient referee and spoiling tactics from their opponents who were intent on slowing the game down early on.

Kevin Ellison had the best opportunity of the period and Andy Warrington saved from Ronnie Henry, before Law broke onto Adam Le Fondre's ball through the defence to cut into the area from the right and smash home three minutes into stoppage time.

In a sluggish affair after the restart, Nick Fenton had a goal ruled out on 72 minutes for what appeared to be a fair header at the far post, before going off injured.

And Mousinho levelled when he converted David Bridges' pull back with a neat sidefoot in the 83rd minute.

Tom Newey almost won it for the Millers when his free-kick was bizarrely misjudged by Chris Day, but he recovered to claim the ball after it nearly sailed over his head into the net.
