Millers 1-0 Accrington Stanley

Despite only netting once during the 90 minutes, the Millers controlled much of the game with a workmanlike display.

They took the lead on the 25th minute mark as Shaun Harrad blasted home a penalty after a foul on Mark Bradley in the box to net his second goal in successive games since arriving on loan.

Both teams struggled to create any flowing patterns of play in the conditions, but the lively Kieron Cadogan looked most threatening down the right for the home side.

He almost set up a second after the interval as his jinking run and cross was met by an unmarked Harrad, whos goalbound header was blocked by Stanley 'keeper Iain Dunbavin.

Alex Revell also wasted a good opportunity while the visitors best efforts came from distance, veteran Bryan Hughes shot over with Rhys Taylor in the home goal rarely troubled.
