Ronnie Moore sent out an unchanged side from the midweek win over Dagenham & Redbridge for their game at Lincoln City.

The Millers got the boost of a 14th minute penalty when the referee Janail Singh produced the red card after Imps Moses Swaibu hauled down Millers top scorer Adam Le Fondre in the box..Le Fondre stepped up himself to take the penalty firing the Millers into the lead.

Imps goalkeeper Rob Burch saved from Ellison, as at the other end Lincoln's Brian Gilmour had Millers keeper Warrington beaten but saw his shot hit the post after a 30-yard drive.

The second half saw a 10 man Lincoln taking the game to the Millers, but their efforts looked to be dashed on 65 minutes when Tom Pope played a delightful ball through to midfielder Gary Roberts, and he steered the ball past Burch to give the Millers a two goal lead.

A flowing move involving Law, Roberts and Pope led to Le Fondre seeing his effort brilliantly saved by Burch.

In the 77th minute substitute Steven Lennon on loan from Glasgow Rangers opened his account for Lincoln, after being put through by Hone.

Lincoln had a penalty appeal of their own turned down after a free kick into the box saw Herd going to ground but appeals for a penalty were waved away by referee Singh.
