Bury 1-1 Millers

Ryan Lowe got the home sides goal just before the break as he punished Exodus Geohaghon's lapse at the back, before Adam Le Fondre's second half header levelled matters.

The Millers started fairly brightly with a five man midfield due to injury to Tom Pope and the absence of Ryan Cresswell, meaning Nick Fenton came into the back four.

Jason Taylor and Fenton fired over with shots from range as Cameron Belford wasn't tested in the home goal early on.

Lenell John-Lewis had the two best openings for the Shakers before the break, firing straight at Andy Warrington from 20 yards and then heading down for Michael Jones, who blasted over from inside the area.

On 42 minutes though it was Lowe who broke the deadlock as he pounced on Geohaghon's blind backpass in the box to round Warrington and roll the ball into an unguarded net.

However a minute after the restart Le Fondre's cushioned header nestled in the corner after Kevin Ellison had won the race with Phil Picken down the left flank, picked up the blocked rebound and crossed to lay it on a plate.

Lowe then wasted a good chance on 54 minutes as his shot flew over the top, before Fenton headed into the side netting at the other end from Taylor's free-kick and Le Fondre smashed a shot just over Belford's bar from 30 yards.

Speedy sub Nicky Asoje, on loan from Manchester United, created an opening with ten minutes remaining but his mazy run was ended by clashing with his own man Ryan Bennett.

Asoje then drove in a shot at the death but Warrington was equal to his drive as both teams shared the spoils.
