Then by night, they are expected to hit the town hard on massive drinking sessions. In the past at official IMFC events the WAGS have been seen to be staggering around blind drunk. Goalkeeper Mark Woolass' girlfriend Rachel Nosecondname was once photographed being sick in trendy Rotherham nightclub Liquid and after an inspection of the bar bill at the end it's not easy to see why. A Liquid spokesman said “She was really drunk that night, she was throwing up everywhere. I don't know why really because she only had two blue WKD's.”
Other WAGS will hope to fair better and in fact some publicly claim to be able to keep up with the footballers. In an interview with Heat magazine, Gemma Wilkinson, girlfriend of club captain Martin Dent said “When me and Martin go out, I always keep up with him.” Evidence would tend to disagree though as she was photographed swaying in to a Blackpool bar with a huge smile on her face after drinking far less than Denti. Later that evening she was again photographed, this time under the table.
With only four WAGS going, the rest of the lads will be hoping that they can find a replacement when they visit a strip club that is nearby the team hotel.
