Midfielder Bennett In Training Ground Feud

With Worldnet just three days away, Internet Millers' plans of regaining the trophy have been thrown in to chaos this week with late pullouts and injuries and today's episode could provide further a blow to already ailing spirits.

The energetic midfielder is rumoured to have confronted Burns following an off the cuff comment from the Worldnet winning coach regarding Bennett's loyalty to his team mates and let the training ground feud spill over to a press conference before storming out. In a direct message to Burns, he challenged the boss to leave him out of the team. “Leave me out of team if you want, I'm really not bothered. Anyone who knows me well will know that I would never shit on my mates”.

He then went on to publicly refuse to get in to a round of drinks with his manager. “Don't worry, I won't be expecting a drink off you.”

Bennett will be distressed at these latest proceedings as he would have been desperately keen for a successful Worldnet campaign as memories of last year's win are tarnished for giving away a stupid free kick in the last minute, which QPR went on to score from.

Bennett has been unable to shake off the tag this season and has been taunted by opposition fans throughout Internet Millers' league winning season. He has even featured in a Pizza Hut advert with fellow player Jebu, who also gave away a foul at a crucial time in the final and the pair have been the butt of the jokes.

This incident will do nothing to enhance his fragile confidence and despite a brash attitude at today's press conference, he must be surely desperate to smooth things over with his boss.
