Wembley 11 years on- The fans remember!

How old were you when we went to Wembley? 19

Best memory watching Rotherham up until then?

Winning promotion or the Championship at Stockport. Sat in the main stand, above the player's tunnel. The entire game is clothed in the memory of the smell of Ralgex. All the players exchanged high fives with the fans as they came off the pitch - handshakes with then heroes Buckley and Williamson

Describe the day, what did you do and when?

Every car on the M1 seemed to have a red and white shirt or a scarf or a flag flying from it. We owned that road. Toddington service full of Millers shirts. Wembley - sunlit, gleaming. Faces that you'd seen at Crewe and Walsall and Bury there, to watch their team, filled with child-like excitement. The team coming out, my team, at Wembley: the pride! A couple of shy tears sneaked out. Bloke behind me saying "oh look, the goalie's the captain" - the feeling that actually, this day belonged to people like me, not him. The stream of joyous Millers on the way home. The feeling that maybe this was the start of our being a club that people respected, that deserved respect.

Best moment? Clarke lifting the shield
