The Twenty Questions - Preston

Last updated : 28 August 2004 By Bigrich.....
Who are you; where are you from and how long have you supported your club?

Mart from Cardiff, supported PNE 20 odd years.

What was your first game?
Chester away mid 80's

Describe the most memorable and worst game you've seen and why?
PNE whacking Cardiff 4-0 away was pretty special for personal reasons.
Worst - Both of the playoff finals we've been in, i'd rather not talk about it.

Who do you consider as your current local rivals, and why?
The donkey lashers down the road at Blackpool will always be despised first and foremost. However as they're headed for oblivion, currently we quite strongly dislike Bumley - lets face it, who doesn't?

Who are the best and worst players you have seen?
At PNE, best: Brian Mooney, Tony (judas) Ellis, Johnny Macken. Worst: Mark Sale, 10ft tall and couldn't head the bloody thing.

Which current or former Rotherham player impressed you most?
Martin Butler has scored a few against us over the years for various clubs. The Goat is a lower division legend.

How did you fare last season?
Pretty poor, a bit dull.

How do you think you'll do this season?
More of the same without a new manager i'm afraid.

What's the local drink and snap?
Pint of Boddies in the Sumners is spot on.

If Preston were a TV personality, who would it be and why?
Sylvester Stallone: never going to be A list again, but done it all in the past. First. (the orginal Invincibles)

So what do you think of Rotherham?
Not a lot, never been! Small club, doing well for it's size to be fair.

Is your manager barking mad?
No - quiet and reserved to the point of driving most fans mad.

Are you happy with your Chairman/Backroom staff?
Not showing enough ambition, vanishing transfer fees & a dodgy manager haven't exactly filled me with confidence.

Which team do you want to beat the most this season and why?
Bumley - see above.

What sort of line-up can we expect from you?
Possibly(our lot are quite injury prone):
Lonergan
Mawene, Lucketti, Davis
Alexander, McKenna, O'Neil, Skora, Lewis
Healy, Cresswell

Predicted score?
2-1 PNE

Who's going up?
Not us, not you. Can't see too far past the so called 'big clubs', although it looks a fairly poor standard division this season.

Who's going down?
Hopefully not us, maybe you! Brighton, QPR plus AN Other - we'll leave it at that eh!
