Forest 20 questions part 2

Last updated : 03 November 2004 By Bigrich.....
Who are you; where are you from and how long have you supported your club?

Ally Barron a season ticket holder in A Block, now living in Leeds, I saw my first game as a 2 year old (23 years ago)

What was your first game?
A reserve game with my Dad to watch Trevor Francis play. First real game Aston Villa away 1989 we lost 2-1 with Lee Chapman scoring.

Describe the most memorable and worst game you've seen and why?
Most memorable game, Birmingham City away 1998 we were really, really bad and 1-0 down after 89 minutes. A 20 yard freekick from Pierre Van Hooijdonk and a 25 blast from the Dutchman in injury time and we won 2-1. What a great feeling. The worst game for me was losing 3-0 at home to Sheff Wed in 1997. It was depressingly bad, even worse than now.

Who do you consider as your current local rivals, and why?
No decision to make, Derby County. Our bitter sheep loving neighbors. Why? I'm sure you would too!

Who are the best and worst players you have seen?
The best was Stan Collymore at his best, potentially the best striker England has produced in my lifetime, he had everything. The worst is a toss up between Gregor Robertson (current player somehow) and Andrea Silenzi, Italy must have been in dire straits when they picked him 5 times!

Big Al

Which current or former Rotherham player impressed you most?

I never liked Alan Lee but he was certainly a handful.

How did you fare last season?
Only slightly better than you did, 14th

How do you think you'll do this season?
It's going to be a long season and a fight to stay in the division!

What's the local drink and snap?
The TBI (Trent Bridge Inn) one of many pubs by the ground, you'll always get served quickly. For a bit of grub (snap as you'd call it) you can't beat the Bridgford Fish Bar on Radcliffe Road.

If Forest were a TV personality, who would it be and why?
We'd be Chris Evans. We used to be great to watch and the best in the land and despite attempting a number of comebacks, we're never going to get back to the very top again.

So what do you think of Rotherham?
It's not too bad. The Tivoli by the ground is a great place for a pre-match beer, if not a little like the Phoenix Club. Far too many boy racers driving past The Beach at night though!

Is your manager barking mad?
Good description, he's not the man we're looking for and some stuff he comes out with is simply ridiculous!

Are you happy with your Chairman/Backroom staff?
I'm not happy with anyone that runs our club. Very amateur from top to bottom! - (my god try being us luv!! - Rich)

Which team do you want to beat the most this season and why?
Derby County to get revenge for the Coffee Cup incident last season.

What sort of line-up can we expect from you?
An entirely predictable one. 4-4-2 with a static midfield bar the tubby young Irish lad on the left!

Predicted score?
1-0 Forest

Who's going up?
Wigan, Reading and Ipswich

Who's going down?
Gillingham, Brighton and Rotherham (sorry)

MillersMad would like to thank both Lee and Ally for thier time! Ally is part of the Forest Fanzine www.bloomingforest.co.uk
