Hello there, Who are yer and how long have you supported Swansea City?

Jack_bStard, brother of Alan the new stateman, supported the club 21 years.

What made you support your club?
Was your usual 1980's glory hunting Liverpool fan at primary school, until dad took me to the Vetch to see a League Cup game with Leicester in 85/86 ?

Whats your favorite away day and why?
Reading in the early 90's the season we reached the play-offs, we took 3,500 lost the game, but you can find out for yourself on YouTube what happened, I was young an impressionalble.

Whats your proudest moment being a Jack?
Strange one this. It's not the promotions or the cups, or even staying in the league against Hull, the proudest I've ever felt was at the home game with Southend last year. Full house, all four sides of a brand new stadium was on it's feet absolutely bouncing, and I couldn't believe how far we'd come in two years, that was a reality check for me.

And your most embarassing / disappointing?
As a kid, getting cheated out of a result at home to Panathanicos, I cried in the car all the way home (playoff final losses were probably worse, but I didn't cry).

Who are your main rivals?
Garden Village, West End, Cardiff.

If Swansea was a Song, what would it be, and why?
Lets be positive here "the only way is up" yazz and the plastic population

Whos your all time favorite player, and why??
Keith Sky Walker, the guy oozed class as a defender, closely followed by Freestone and Trundle.

How big a disspointment was last season's play-off loss??
It felt like somebody standing on your chest and refusing to get off.

What were your expectations for the season?
Top two, and I still think we'll make it.

Leon Knight, how would you handle him???
Let somebody else far away deal with him, and we'll concentrate on the football.

Whats the story with the Jack Army, why are you called jacks?
Partly to do with the common name for sailors as 'jack tars' that became associated with the port of Swansea and it's seamen. Also popularised by the heroic dog called 'Swansea Jack' who saved over 20 lives as a rescue dog working in the docks in the 30's'

One player from this division you would like in your team, and why?
probably one of the Blackpool lads, Ian Evatt at the back or perhaps Wes Hooligan. That Chris Commons is another fancy funker, we got enough of them already

Worried about losing any players come the January sales?
Yes, need to keep hold of Britton and Tate, I think they are the ones that will attract interest.

Who's your strongest / Weakest link?
as above, when tate and britton play well, we play well, centre midfield improving too with Prats and craney. weakest link, Big Den at the back.

Predicted Line-up?
Gueret
Tate
Painter
Big Den
Austin
Britts
Pratley
Craney
Williams
Trundle
Fallon

Predicted Score?
I'll happily take a 1-0 at Christmas

Whos going up??
Forest, Swans, Blackpool (Wurzles, crying into their scrumpy in the playoffs)

And who's going down?
Millwall, Brentford, Orient, Cheltenham.

And finally. Steak and Kidney, Meat and Tatty or Balti??
Balti, balti, balti
