20Questions - Millwall part 2

Last updated : 28 September 2006 By Bigrich.....
Hello there, Who are yer and how long have you supported Millwall?

Beverley Fenn (Crunchie)

What made you support your club?
Nothing MADE me it's in the blood

Whats your favorite away day and why?
Been to too many good ones to name just one,but typical example is Few beers good mates few more beers lots of laughs and 3 points
(this season the 3 points tends to be missing)

Whats your proudest moment being a Millwall Fan?
FA Cup Semi Final

And your most embarassing / disappointing?
FA Cup Final (not losing funny enough just not trying to win)

So who is your main rival?
Wet Sham

If Millwall was a Song, what would it be, and why?
Take your pick from 'Anarchy In The UK' - ugly but you know you love it. Or if not that then older readers might know the theme from 'Crossroads'. A soap opera - which is what we've become in the past two years!

Whos your all time favorite player, and why?
I'll get shot by some here but still have to be Teddy (or Judas as he is now known)

A shocking start for you, should Spackman have gone?
I dont think he should have been there in the first place but we cant keep chopping and changing
the way we are going we will have more managers than goals

Will the change of manager sort it out or are there deeper problems???
There are deeper problems. A Millwall civil war it feels like. The club has been in crisis ever since the May 2nd 2002 play-off riot and too often the board of directors has been at odds with the support itself. Leaving aside the FA Cup Final and European excursion, which were enjoyable slices of outrageous good fortune, neither side are still truly reconciled with each other.

And who do you want as Manager?
My choice would be Steve Gritt. He has Millwall pedigree and is respected at Millwall and at each of his previous clubs He also kept Brighton in the league a few years ago - something that we might need more than we think soon!

Hows Jody Morris doing?
Injured so far this season, But since he arrived, he's promised a lot without ever really delivering. You get the feeling with Jody that he never leaves third gear on the football field. Again with his Premiership class a lot rests on his small shoulders when he returns

Darren Byfield, a lazy sod at Rotherham, what about down there?
Baby Boy Byfield - haven't really seen enough of him to comment. One goal in the opening game, then injured in the second. With our poor goalscoring record, a lot of hopes rest on him too though.

One player from this division you would like in your team, and why?
Sean Dyche of Northampton for me. I was sorry to see him go. He would steady our fragile defence and is still well regarded at The Den.

And what about your nutters? The day you beat us 4-0 at your place was horrible..
What you talking about? That was a great day! Seriously, see the comment above about the effect of May 2nd. One of the ongoing debates around the message boards has been the sanitisation of The Den ever since... myself I think like in "The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe", the Lion sleeps right now, but like that famous story he will re awaken at some stage...

Who's your strongest / Weakest link?
Strongest link - Marvin Williams. A real Millwall player who isn't the most skilful you'll ever see, but never (ever) gives less than 120%. If we keep him, he's on the road to cult status at The Den. Lets just hope he doesnt get POTY as sure as eggs is eggs we'll sell him !

Weakest? Blimey where to start? Ok how about ... 'Our Defence'. It's a pity we're not playing Rotherham at butterfly collecting. Because then we'd really give you a game...

Predicted Line-up?

Pidgely (GK)
Senda (DR) Shaw (DC) Robinson (DC) Craig (DL)
Dunne (MR) Elliot (MC) Fuseini (MC) Williams (ML)
Haynes (SC) Hubertz (SC)

Predicted Score?
I've always been pretty confident coming here but looking at your form and ours I unfortunatly believe today could be the day we change places Rotherham 2 0 Millwall

Whos going up??
Forest look strong, (plus I had money on them pre season on saying that I thought I took a great price of 16/1 on us laughable now) as do Tranmere. Of the rest I'd plump for Yeovil

And finally. Meat & Tatty, Steak n Kidney or jellied eels??
Pie n Mash
