20Questions - Leyton Orient.. pt2

Last updated : 21 September 2006 By Bigrich.....
Hello there, Who are yer and how long have you supported Leyton Orient?

Sean McNeill, started going at the start of the 91/92 season.

What made you support your club?
My dad took me as it was cheaper than Spurs or arsenal

Whats your favorite away ground and why?
Mansfield, as I've never seen us lose there.

Seems ages since we last played you, has your ground changed much??
Just a bit. Brand new West Stand but still only three sided as the North Stand is yet to begin construction. Oh, and we've got flats on each corner of the ground.

Whats your proudest moment being a Orient fan?
All of last season, as we finally managed to get out of the basement after 11 years of trying.

And your most embarassing / disappointing?
98/99 when we lost the play-off final really hurt as I thought we would go up that season.

So who is your main rival?
Geographically it's west Ham, but we haven't played them in ages. Southend filled a hole for a few seasons but I'm looking forward to playing Brentford again.

If Leyton Orient was a Song, what would it be, and why?
The way this season is going it'd be "where have all the good times gone?" by The Kinks. Last season seems a long time ago.

Whats the one thing you would change about your club?
The chairman.

Any famous fans?
Julian Lloyd webber (Andrews less famous brother) and Bob Mills, who used to be on the telly.

Whos your all time favorite player, and why?
Kenny Achampong. Supremely talented on his day, but sadly that wasn't often enough.

favourite current player in your squad?
Gary Alexander. Works hard every game. Needs to score more goals though, seeing as he's a striker.

Thoughts on the gaffer?
I didn't want him to get the job, but he has proved me wrong. Needs to act quickly to stop us going straight back down.

Realistic hopes for the season?
Staying up was the main aim, and recent form has only reinforced that.

So after promotion last season, did Martin Ling get money to improve?
Yes, but he hasn't used it. That looks to be a mistake.

Who's your strongest / Weakest link?
If Simpson and Easton/Chambers perform well in the middle of the park then we can dominate midfield. At the moment our defence is all over the place and giving away lots of silly goals away from home.

Preditcted line up and score for the game on Tuesday?
I'll take a 1-0 win. Garner: Tann, Saah, Fortune, Lockwood: Corden, Simmo, Chambers or Easton, Keith: Steele, Alexander. Should be a straight 4-4-2 as it's what we normally play.

Either Or

Matchroom Stadium or Brisbane Road?
Brisbane Road.

Home or Away games?
With our away form, it's got to be home games.

Meat & Tatty or Steak & Kidney
Can't I have both?
