We've got the momentum - Knill

Speaking to the assembled press at the post match conference, Knilly said; "I thought it was a fantastic team performance and in that there were 3 great goals."

Moving on to speak about Eugen Bopp's opening goal which angered Bournemouth as they had a man down injured, Knill explained his feelings. "The referee allowed the game to play on, I was screaming to kick it out and he didnt. But on the same time they had the ball first and had the opportunity to put it out and then we turned it over. Once Boppy took it on and got around the edge of the area he's pretty dangerous and it usually ends up somewhere in the back of the net."

"If that happened to me I wouldnt be happy but these things happen and if the referee allows you to play on, you do."

However yet again the Millers conceded a goal to a set peice, something which Knill was'nt too happy about, but he refused to let it spoil the win. "First of all it was a poor free-kick to give away, then it was a free header. But we didnt let it bother us and we just kept on playing our game. And then we scored to make it 2-1. Will scored a fabulous goal, it was a great team movement, great passing and a great finish."

"Lee's goal was brilliant, he broke the play up in our half, Lee's got the pace and power, he just continued running with it and everything just opened up, on his weaker left foot he bent it inside the left post. To go in half-time 3-1 up was excellent and I think we more than deserved it."

Asked if the Millers could put a winning run on, "I think anybody could in this league, I think we've all seen it that anybody can beat anybody on thier day and its consistancy that teams strive for. Thats 3 on the trot now and we're going the right way, which is the most important and the teams arouund us are'nt."

"We're the team with the momemtum, thats 23 points and that would have us near the play-offs so we're going the right way, we just have to keep that momentum going and we will end up with a position where we want to be."

"You dont come to places like Bournemouth or away without the other team having chances so you have to take your luck and we had a little bit today with them hitting the bar, but at the same time we know we have players that can score goals."

"It's not a case of us going anywhere and sitting back, we have to take our game as we have players that are pretty good technically and can open teams up so it was a case of being solid in the second half which we was and really seeing out the game."

"I though Colin (Murdock) was excellent as was Boppy. Theres a big competition for places, if you lose your place then usually its pretty tough to get it back and thats what I want, I didnt have it last year and I wanted it this year. You can see from everybody's performance that they just want to keep
hold of that shirt."

Knilly explained why Justin Cochrane didnt play and gave an update on the injury front. "Justin came down with us and trained on the Friday and he was ok, but woke up this morning and complained that he was really sore, but its fortunate that Bopp just steps in. Gregor is still struggling and is doubtful for the weekend."
