We're bottom and all to blame - Knill

Asked what his view of the game was, Knill was blunt in his answer, "Probably the same as everybody else's, a pretty poor performance. It's the goals you can't concede. I keep saying the same thing every week, a free header, then we give them a second from a set piece. We have everybody up in the box and we want to go short with it and lose it. It was a great finish from Trundle but a poor performance from us."

"You look at Swansea and they have some quality players, their front four looked dangerous all the time, we're just lacking confidence at the moment and a touch of quality, so all we can do is try to keep positive and stick together. It's a tough time for us and anybody can see that. Sticking together and staying positive is the only way I know how to get out of it." he added.

"I said, lets get in thier half, lets get up the pitch and play in their half but we didn't and first half we couldn't get the ball to pass it around, when we did a couple of times we looked lively but we just couldnt get enough of the ball."

"When your playing a quality side like Swansea you have to pass it when your in their half, we didnt pass it well enough and when we did have chances we didnt take them."

"Theo Streete took a knock and came off, it looks like an ankle but we'll asses that in the morning, we won't know the extent of his injury until later this week, Eugen Bopp looks as if he will be out for about ten weeks, and these are injuries we can ill afford with such a small squad."

Knill was then asked by Seth Bennett wether he thought that Delroy Facey had performed to Knill's expectations, "I think we're bottom of the league, we're bottom of the league and we're all to blame. I put the team out and talk about the tactics, when the players go on the pitch it's down to them. We're all together and we're all to blame so I don't think its right to pick out individuals, the team wins and the team loses."

Asked where the current Millers plight ranks in Knills rough time in charge of the team. "It's pretty tough, as tough as I've known it and you just have to keep your head down and work harder and usually it changes I've found in the past. We have to all pull together instead of going off in little groups, everybody can see how tough it is, but you all pull together and eventually you'll come through it."

Knill was also asked about his meeting on Monday with the Millers board, "We all agreed that it is a really tought time at the moment but we all want to get through it, and we all want the best for the football club, and the way that we can get through this is for us all to stick together, keep talking and understand with each other where this football clubs going, where it wants to be and how we are going to get there."

"I said a few things and he said a few things and its better now, I know that since they've been here they've been excellent. Its a tough job running this Football club and they've done all they can to keep us going as I have. We all have one goal and that's Rotherham United, to keep it going and eventually get us where we want to be".

Asked who would get praise out of tonights game, "Monty made some decent saves, it was a pretty tough game and you can see that and i don't like using this word confidence is low and not just on the pitch but off the pitch and around it."

"The Supporters - credit to them, they kept cheering where they could and we're greatful for them and they keep believing, I just want to change things around for them because its been tough for them for 3 or four years now."

"We can come out of this tough time and come out the other side with an idea on how to put this club back to where it should be."
