We were still on the bus!!! - Knill

In Alan Knill's post match interview, he was'nt happy with how the Millers started the game, "They started and we did'nt, we were still on the team bus were'nt we! You say all the right things before they go out but you can't legislate for it. It was poor defending."

"Bournemouth get into us too easy, they broke us down twice in eleven minutes and scored twice. We had chances to clear the ball and we never!"

"They were better than us all-round, they were brighter and sharper. I've said that we have to be at our best every week if we are to get out of this, today we was'nt at our best."

Asked why the performance today was'nt the same battling performance which the team had produced since Knill took over, "For me its Attitude and Mentality. We needed to come here and get a result, you think that we have a stronger squad than last week but we go on the pitch and we're two down in ten minutes so you look at attitude and mentalitys and we were lacking on both today."

"Today was a bit like Bristol City, we just never turned up from the start and when your playing a decent team like Bournemouth then 2-0 is usually how it finishes, it could have been worse.."

"We have Nottingham Forest next week and we have to look after ourselfs. If we play well and perform well then usually the results look after themselves, today we didnt and ended up in defeat."

Knill was then asked what changes he needs to make to keep the Millers up, "The biggest is not to concede goals, if we dont concede then we're usually in with a shout, but cant legislate for what happened in 11 minutes here. We stood on the side and said all the right things and its down to the players."

"We'r trying to bring somebody in for Forest, we've been looking for the past two weeks and we're always hopeful, I think we need some new faces dont we!"
