We were made to pay for misses - Robins

Robbo told the official site that he was happy with the point on the reflection but felt that the Millers could have won the game.

"We should have put the game to bed in the first half when we were wasteful on one or two chances and we were made to pay for it in the second half. Overall I think it will prove to be a decent point although it was frustrating to concede a goal like that. We had huffed and puffed while the pitch was heavy and that played its part but we created enough chances and the better ones as well. Having said that they had one or two efforts on goal so it could have gone either way and it was a fair reflection on the game at the end."

"But it's still disappointing not to have taken all three points, we learned from the MK Dons game not to go too gung ho although we were still searching the winner. A second goal would have made a difference in the first half when we were well on top but they changed their shape a couple of times to come more in the game."

"They had some more possession in the second half while we tried to stick in there as we huffed and puffed but just didn't have that real quality in the second half."

"The referee made some good and poor decisions but I don't want to talk about him, I want to reflect on our performance and how we can improve and move forward. It's another point against a team who are around us in the league table and they haven't closed the gap while we have a game in hand over them so that's the positive."

"We have to learn as a group and make sure that teams will change their shape so we have to be a bit wise as to what to do, that's work for the training ground next week. We have had a lot of rain so the pitch was heavy and we did well to get the game on."

Robins then went on to praise the bumper crowd that attended United Rotherham day; "It was brilliant to have supporters in the Railway End, they were a lot more vocal and they have been superb. Hopefully those fans will come back for the rest of the season, we could certainly do with their support."
