We need to start better - Raynor

“It was a good workmanlike performance; I wasn’t too impressed with the first half showing as we stood off Barnet for the first 15 or 20 minutes and let them get a foothold in the game. They’ve been struggling a bit of late and the nervousness would have crept earlier as we did second half. But We didn’t really start on the front foot, and thats something we need to do as when we have we’ve gone on to dominate teams."

“We had to make a change and we changed it around a little bit tactically and got closer to them and came in the game a little bit more. In terms of it being a game of two halves, but we’ve certainly dominated the second half, had the better chances and should be talking about a victory as opposed to a 0-0 away from home, but look we’ve come away and got a draw.”

"It's slightly disappointed, we can't let teams get a foothold in the game and we have to start better and on the front foot like we did in the second half. We tweeked a few things at half time and came out a lot better and the evidence was there to see."

"I expect teams at the bottom of the league to fight for thier lives, they did have a lot of confidence on the ball but I think that came from our lack of pressure rather than anything Barnet were doing, but give them credit, they were good in possession, they didnt really hurt us too much, Scott's had a couple of comfortable saves to make but nothing untowards. I was more concerned about what we was going to do offensively than what Barnet were doing."

"Second half we had the clear cut chances, we made the changes and you think your going to go on, make the positives, bring Lionel and Kieren on as we felt that their pace would distrub them a little, it was beginning to then you tell me about the sending off."

"I just see Alex Revell trying to block a clearance, the guy goes down and I thought they would need 2 stretchers to carry him off. Obviously not as he jumped back to his feet within seconds of Alex left the field. Disappointing, he didnt need to do that."

"Kari is getting there, he's got his boots back on and hes back in training. We can't take a chance, he's too important to us as the season goes on. We're 99% sure he'll be fit for Saturday, everythings crossed because he's a massive player for us."

"David Noble did the warm up with us today, it's well documented he's only trained on Friday with us this week, so he's been away for a week or so, training on your own in the gym is different to football and training with the boys at the tempo we train. We didn't involve him today but it was good to see him involved with the guys and he'll come back into contention for Oxford on Saturday."
