We lacked fluency - Evans

Daniel Nardiello grabbed a late point to equalise from sub Ben Pringle's cross, after Matty Blair's strike looked to have given the visitors a deserved three points.

“I don’t think in the first half we had the same fluency we’ve had in the last three or four games,” Steve Evans told Millers Player. "Saying that, we had the odd scare but we’ve had a lot of the ball.

"I thought second half we started really brightly, we’ve got our foot on the ball and dominated possession. Andy Warrington kept us in the game with a good save. Their goal is the most fortuitous you can imagine with how it hits him on the back, rolls down his leg and falls in front of him, but to be fair he’s finished it well.

“We’ve then made a few changes which I think have affected it, and about 10 minutes from the end Nards is asking to come off because he was feeling his groin but I knew he could get a goal so I just told him to get in the box every time a ball comes in and just be there.

"He got the goal but I’m disappointed because it’s a game we should be winning.

"I thought all the substitutions changed it, Odejayi, Pringle and Slew; we’ve not played as well as we could play but it could be a vital point in the end."
