We absolutely pulverised them - Moore

A goal after just five minutes from Shrewsbury's Lionel Ainsworth saw the Millers fall to their first league defeat of the season. After the game Moore gave his thought's on the Official Site, saying:

"I thought that the lads were fantastic to be honest.

"The players have given everything and I cannot fault their performance. We paid for five minutes of madness when we never started in the first half and gave away a really sloppy goal. After that Andy Warrington hasn't had too much to do and I was really pleased with our passing. In the second half we absolutely pulverised them, it was like the Alamo. How they have got out of jail I do not know but the 'keeper has made six or seven world class saves.

"The lads gave their all and if we can produce that week in, week out then we will not be too far away."

After half time Tom Elliott was replaced by Paul Warne, and the change sparked a Millers fightback.

"Warney has come on and got on the ball.

"He came on and put their defence under pressure, he also won more headers in the time he was on. I was really pleased with Warney's contribution. When he came on he passed and moved but we just didn't get the break."
