They passed us off the park - Robins

The gaffer watched the Millers crash out of the FA Cup with a 3-0 replay defeat after the first game at the New Lawn ended all square - but insists this will be a one off for his youthful line up.

Speaking post match to www.themillers.co.uk, he said: "It was a bad day at the office. Forest Green deserved to win the first game and this one too, we never got going. I don't want to be too critical as the players have been magnificent recently and we are going well in the league.

"It was disappointing as we were looking to progress in this competition and we were beaten by a side who have passed us off the park. We created enough chances to go infront although looked a yard off it from the first minute. Dale Tonge made a great clearance off the line and that set the tone.

"It's a one off and I'm sure the lads will react in the right way, although they are smarting at the moment as it's not nice being beaten by a lower league side. Some of our lads are finding their feet and this will be a one off, we take the pats on the back when it's going well so we have to take the criticism.

"We'll look at things in the next couple of days as we have a decent game this Saturday (Shrewsbury Town) - good sides don't lose two on the trot so it's up to us to get it right again - I'm confident the players can do that."
